June 2026
June is a less busy month, but it marks the beginning of the warm season. The warm weather is slowly settling in, and it’s also peak lobster season, a must for foodies. You’ll enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere, with a pace of life that matches the gentler weather. We still have a few weeks available; contact our concierge to determine the ideal time for your visit.
July and August 2026
The peak season, very popular with families, when all the restaurants and shops are open. The atmosphere is festive, and it is usually the first choice for those who want to spend their summer vacation in the great outdoors. As most weeks are already booked, it is strongly recommended that you make your arrangements now. Note that there are still rooms available at the Petit hôtel de la Montagne and the Vieux Couvent, if you act quickly. If you are not tied to the school calendar, consider coming in May, June, September, or October, which are just as pleasant and less crowded.
September 2025
The month of September is often considered one of the best times to visit the archipelago and book one of our houses for rent in the Magdalen Islands. The days are still warm and bright, most shops and restaurants remain open and the crowds are gradually decreasing, leaving you to enjoy a more serene pace. The atmosphere is soft, the light exceptional and there are still a few beaches to feel almost alone in the world.
